What is PEP Exam?

PEP stands for “ Pre-registration examination for Pharmacists” in Nigeria.

This examination is used to access both Nigeria pharmacists and Foreign pharmacist (who wish to practice in Nigeria) on their knowledge, skills, ethics and attitude to practice pharmacy in Nigeria without placing the public health at risk.

The Pre-registration examination for pharmacists (PEP) is written twice in every year by pharmacists, that has finished their internship program.

 It is compulsory for all pharmacists, in other to be registered by PCN.

The PEP examination is a computer based test (CBT) and it comprises of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ) which are to be completed within 2-hours.
